TrackMock

TrackMock

Exact view counts for the videos you publish. Connect the TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or YouTube account you post from, paste a link to one of your own videos, and TrackMock reads the real view, like, comment and share counts straight from that platform — not the rounded figure the public page shows.

Why it exists

Every platform shows creators a different dashboard, in a different place, with numbers rounded for display. “1.2M views” could be anything from 1,150,000 to 1,249,999, and a figure that vague is no use when you are reporting a campaign result, invoicing against a deliverable, or simply checking whether a video is still climbing.

TrackMock does one narrow thing well: for a video on an account you can prove you own, it returns the count as an exact integer, records what the platform said and when it said it, and shows you which of the four platforms the answer came from. One tool, one page, four platforms, no rounding.

How it works

  1. 1
Connect the account you publish from.

You are sent to the platform's own login screen to approve read-only access. TrackMock never sees a password, and it asks only for permission to read your own profile name and your own videos.

  2. 2
Paste a link to one of your videos.

Any normal post URL works — a TikTok video link, an Instagram Reel, a Facebook Reel, a YouTube video or Short. Connected platforms also list your recent uploads so you can pick one without copying a link.

  3. 3
    Read the exact counts.

Views, likes, comments and shares, as integers. Each reading shows which account it was read with, whether ownership was confirmed, and whether any figure came back rounded rather than exact — so you always know how much to trust the number in front of you.

Supported platforms

Four platforms, each read through its own official API using the access you grant. What a platform will report is set by that platform, so the coverage differs slightly between them.

TikTok
Your own videos
Views, likes, comments and shares per video, plus the caption and publish time.
Instagram
Reels and posts
Views, likes and comments for the media published on the connected account.
Facebook
Reels and videos
Views, likes and comments for videos published by a Page you administer.
YouTube
Videos and Shorts
Views, likes and comments for the uploads on the connected channel.

Ownership is checked, not assumed

TrackMock is built for reading your own numbers, and it enforces that rather than trusting it. Before any figure is shown, the post you asked about is compared against the account you connected — by owner id where the platform provides one, or by using an endpoint that only ever returns your own posts.

If the post is not yours, you get a refusal that names the owner it found and withholds every metric. Each reading also records the basis on which ownership was decided, so a number can always be traced back to the account and the moment it came from.

What it reads, and what it never does

It reads

  • your display name and profile picture
  • the list of videos published on the connected account
  • each video's caption, publish time and view, like, comment and share counts

It never

  • posts, edits, deletes or messages on your behalf
  • reads anyone else's private content
  • sells, rents or shares your data with third parties
  • runs advertising, third-party analytics or tracking cookies

Frequently asked questions

What does TrackMock actually do?
You connect an account you publish from, paste the link to one of your videos, and TrackMock shows you that video's view, like, comment and share counts as the platform itself reports them — along with a record of exactly what was returned and when.
Why not just look at the public view count?
Public pages round. A video sitting at 6,325,200 views is shown to the world as "6.3M", and some platforms serve no view count at all to a visitor who is not signed in. Reading through the API for an account you own returns the exact integer instead of the rounded display figure.
Do you ever see my password?
No. Connecting an account sends you to that platform's own login page, and the platform hands TrackMock an access token afterwards. No password is ever shown to, typed into, or stored by TrackMock.
Can I look up somebody else's video?
Not by default. TrackMock checks that the post you paste actually belongs to the account you connected, and refuses to show numbers for a post that does not. The refusal names the owner it found, and never the owner's figures.
Is it free?
Yes. TrackMock is free to use, shows no advertising, and has no paid tier. It carries no third-party analytics and no tracking cookies.
How do I disconnect, and what happens to my data?
Disconnect from inside the app at any time, or remove the app from your TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or Google account settings. Disconnecting deletes the stored access token. See the Privacy Policy for what is kept and for how long.

About and contact

TrackMock is a small, independently built tool for creators who need their own numbers to be exact. It is operated by its developer rather than a company, it is free, and it has no commercial relationship with TikTok, Meta or Google — it simply uses each platform's official API with permission you grant and can withdraw at any time.

Questions, bug reports, data deletion requests and anything else: stuffshop.tn@gmail.com. Disconnecting from inside the app removes the stored access token straight away; to have the stored metric records deleted too, mail that address. The Privacy Policy sets out what is kept and how it is removed.
